Amelia has always had a passion for health and holistic approaches to healing.
Being drawn to Osteopathy after high school, Amelia studied her bachelor of Applied Science in Complementary Medicine (Osteopathy) at RMIT in Melbourne and then continued on with her Masters of Osteopathic Medicine at SCU in Lismore.
She has been practicing Osteopathy since 2012 and worked as a sports trainer for football clubs for 4 years whilst completing her Osteopathic studies.
Post graduate courses include Osteopathy in the Cranial field, Dry Needling, Rehabilitation and BLT (Balance Ligamentous Tension technique) courses.
Working as part of a team in well established practices with brilliant Osteopaths in the Sunshine Coast, Brunswick Heads, Coffs Harbour and Busselton have advanced Amelia’s skill set to help meet an individuals needs.
Her treatment approach is tailored to each individual patient and she has an interest in treating children, women during pregnancy, the elderly, sinus and headache sufferers, sporting injuries and postural strains.
Treatment includes a variety of techniques including soft tissue therapy, myofascial techniques, dry needling, manipulation, Osteopathy in the Cranial field and balance ligamentous tension technique. Treatment flows with erganomic and postural advice along with rehabilitation exercises.
She is passionate about surfing, yoga, meditation, travel, dancing and cooking for all her loved ones.
