Dr Alex Cronin

Alex grew up on a farm in a remote coastal town in South Australia. Joining the Royal Australian Navy as a marine technician allowed her to travel extensively and experience the diverse landscapes of Australia, particularly in Northern Australia.

Facing chronic back pain during her Navy service, Alex delved into the study of clinical Pilates. She earned her Diploma in Pilates Movement and Therapy, sparking her fascination with the intricacies of the human body. Motivated to deepen her understanding, she pursued a Bachelor of Clinical Sciences followed by a Master’s in Osteopathic Medicine at Southern Cross University.

Passionate about holistic health and wellness, Alex is dedicated to alleviating pain and enhancing strength through a combination of Osteopathy, Pilates, and exercise. Her treatment approach encompasses muscle energy techniques, joint manipulation, dry needling, soft tissue therapy and cupping to assist clients in achieving their health goals.

Alex actively engages with her community, volunteering for various causes such as charity runs, community events, Gold Coast Uni Sports, and local sporting teams.

Outside of her professional pursuits, you’ll find Alex enjoying the outdoors with her pup, Jack. Whether surfing, fishing, camping, restoring furniture, sewing, or simply soaking up the sunshine at her favorite local café, she embraces a vibrant and active lifestyle.
