Dr. Kat Gaiesky

A Canadian native, Kat has spent over 12 years living in the Northern Rivers and holds a Bachelor of Clinical Science and a Masters in Osteopathic Medicine completed at Southern Cross
University in Lismore. Driven by her passion for health and fitness, Kat pursued additional qualifications adding a Pilates certification to her repertoire. This holistic approach is further used to empower patients to achieve optimal health through movement and therapeutic interventions.

Kat’s journey into Osteopathy began with a keen interest in the human body and the desire to work closely with people. In her practice, Kat takes the time to listen to her patients’ stories, understand their lifestyle, and uses osteopathic assessment to identify the root cause of their issues. She endeavours to foster a collaborative relationship with her patients that helps them achieve their goals and offer them tools and knowledge to maintain their health.

Kat’s treatment philosophy is rooted in a diverse array of techniques, ranging from joint mobilization, indirect techniques, myofascial release, balanced ligamentous tension (BLT), and muscle energy techniques. Kat enjoys treating all musculoskeletal issues including back, neck, and shoulder pain, along with headaches and migraines.
Beyond the clinic, Kat will likely be spending time outdoors with her loved ones or achieving further fitness goals either in the gym or through Pilates!
