Simon’s interest in the experience of pain and its impact on our lives is one of the reasons for becoming an osteopath.

With the aim to further this knowledge and to translate this information to our clients Simon is undertaking a professional certificate in pain science through the university of SA.
Simon is being supported by the not for profit, “Pain Revolution” www.painrevolution.org on the way to becoming a Local Pain Educator. The Local Pain Educator initiative is a long-term capacity building program that provides health professionals with advanced understanding and skills in pain science, education and care.

Passionate about body mechanics and pain science, Simon offers individualised holistic treatment and care to help you overcome pain and restore mobility and wellbeing.

Simon’s background in sports and remedial massage led him to work with a number of top sporting teams including the Queensland and New Zealand rugby league and New South Wales cricket teams and informs his treatment of acute persistent pain and sports injuries. Simon elected to study Osteopathy to meet his interest in the human body and its capability for self-healing.

Simon uses a broad range of treatment approaches and techniques in response to your needs including soft tissue therapy, myofascial techniques, manipulation and dry needling. Simon will work with you to help identify the cause of the problem and provide gentle, effective osteopathic care and treatment specific to your needs. Outside of the clinic Simon enjoys practising Japanese jujitsu, camping adventures in nature and surfing.
