During this time she became convinced by the power of touch and the benefits of manual therapy in transforming peoples lives.
Her passion for Osteopathy began when she received osteopathic treatment after a car accident and she dedicated a further 5 years of study, obtaining her Masters of Osteopathy in 2013.
Cynamon works predominantly as an osteopath incorporating her naturopathic skill and experience to provide holistic treatment and management of both acute and chronic health conditions, exploring the root cause of the issue and helping people to understand how the stresses of lifestyle and work affects their health and wellbeing.
Her treatments are gentle and safe using a variety of techniques tailored to each individual.
Cynamon treats all ages and conditions but has a particular interest in treating and managing children and teenagers, women’s health conditions, as well as pregnancy, childbirth and beyond.
She highly values the therapeutic relationship allowing people to tell their story, encouraging self reflection and giving people the skills to take responsibility for their own health.
Her aim is to restore balance and reconnect people to their true health.
Cynamon has worked in a variety of clinics in the Northern Rivers as well as on the Gold and Sunshine Coasts. She also works in Lismore.
Cynamon has completed additional courses and seminars which has added to her depth and knowledge. These include paediatrics, Biodynamic view of Osteopathy in the Cranial Field and Anthoposophical medicine.
Outside of Osteopathy Cynamon likes to live a balanced life with pilates and walking, spending time with her family, taking time to sit and ponder, reading, foraging in her vegi garden, and cooking.
Cynamon is happy to see Department of Veteran Affairs patients and those on Chronic Disease Management Plans.
